mountain heather. A fantastic introduction to single malts and a perfect entry point for those who may not usually be single malt whisky drinkers.  Dalwhinnie 15yo delivers the essence of Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, offering a rounded and floral
flavour profile.  The Distillery stands at 1,073 feet above sea level and is the highest working distillery in Scotland. Its location was chosen because of its access to extra cold and uncontaminated fresh water, two key factors behind the flavour and quality of the whisky it produces. The extra cold water cools the distillate quickly and helps intensify Dalwhinnie’s flavour characteristics. With an annual average temperature of 6.5 Celsius, it is one (if not the) coldest inhabited place in the U.K.   Aged for a minimum of 15 years in a mixture of Oak Casks.
