Description
First produced in 1959, Bin 28 is Penfolds earliest Bin-range wine, a complex and approachable shiraz. With a mouth-coating tannic structure and alluring spice and chocolate notes, this is a satisfying red wine for mature cheese and savoury dishes.
Lovely mocha, chocolate, espresso flavours. Black jellybean, liquorice, chocolate truffles and rum & raisin. Black forest cake, strudel, crème anglaise. Toasted fennel seeds and fresh tarragon. The acidity is juicy and energetic, while structural graphite-like tannins hold the package together.
